Robert J. Chernack, Graduated High School in 1979 from New Hyde Park Memorial High School with classes formed for me in Advanced Drafting & Architectural Studies. I knew then that Architecture was going to be my field of choice (and Marine Biology was just a dream). In 1984, I obtained a 5 year Bachelor Of Architecture degree at the New York Institute Of Technology.

My background in Architecture and Engineering developed at a local Engineering firm, where I spent 10 years gaining valuable experience, and ultimately became a partner. The firm focused primarily on commercial, and Industrial projects; including IKEA in Hicksville, BlockBuster stores, the Nastasi White building in Queens, etc. along with some Larger New Homes.

In 1990, Robert J. Chernack, Architect PC was founded. Now 35 years later, the primary goal of providing architectural services for residential projects have become my forte,

I find residential designing more rewarding, compared to commercial work. The clients are excited, happy, and more involved in their project.
